Since 2007 MAGICARCH is an international architecture office, designing projects mainly in Europe and Asia. MAGICARCH envisions architecture designs with a contemporary attitude and atmospherical design. Involving different Ecological scales of Design  and envisioning new ways to understand the City, the Architecture and the Domesticity.

17 architecture designs of MAGICARCH  have been awarded in Architecture Competitionssuch as: shortlisted XIIIBEAU Spanish Architecture Bienale 2016, shortlisted at ONE PRIZE in New York in 2011 and ONE PRIZE in New York 2014,FIRST PRIZE in Altres Pessebres Competition 2012,  Selection for the III Biennale of Spanish Architecture in 2008, the FIRST PRIZE in the IV Architecture Competition SCHINDLER 2007, the Education Award for Young Entrepreneurs of the Valencia Government 2009 .

24 projects of MAGICARCH  have been selected or desgined for international exhibitions such as: ‘Seoul Architecture festival’ Seoul, South Korea 2014, ‘Mediterranean vs Caspian Sea’Baku, Azerbaijan 2013, ‘EXPORT Spanish Architects abroad’ Museo Ico, Madrid, Spain 2015, ‘100 architects of the year‘ at the KIA Korean Institute of Architects in Daejeon 2012 and Seoul 2013, III International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam , Netherlands 2006 and the VIII Venice Architecture Biennale -Italy- 2002 and the Korean Institute of Youth Facilities and Environment in Daegu, South Korea 2012.

Maria Jose Marcos is Magicarch CEO.

She has been Professor of architecture design since 2008: Visiting teacher at Architectural Association, London; Assistant professor at Iñaki Abalos Unit ETSAM, Madrid; Assistant professor at Soongsil University, Seoul;  Visiting teacher at  ESARQ International University of Catalonia, Barcelona; Assistant Professor at University of Alicante, Alicante. She is M.Arch I by University of Alicante and M.Arch II in Adavanced Architecture by ETSAM Madrid.

In her curatorial practice she has organized and took part of exhibitions and events at the  XIII Venice Architecture Biennale –Italy- (2012), Contemporary Art Centre La Conservera in Murcia -Spain- (2012), International Festival of Sustainable Actions SOS4.8 in Murcia -Spain-(2012), Official Architects Association of Murcia -Spain- (2012), Official Architects Association of Alicante -Spain- (2012), or the Oriente > Architecture Gallery in Murcia, the first architecture gallery in Spain.

In is critical practice she is juror of several Architecture Awards and she has written more than 120 articles, and interviewed renown architect such as Toyo Ito, Lacaton Vassal, Alvaro Siza or Amid. She is consultant of international architecture, at specialized magazines and blogs such as ‘DOMUS’, ‘Neo2’ ‘A10 New European Architecture’, ‘Abitare’ and ‘Mark‘ magazines or ‘edgargonzalez.com’blog.
